Why the illusion of peace
when a mistaken glimpse results in a sharp intake
baited breath...a gasp
and running away
Why does hurt linger
when all have forgotten
all but one
when feasting is the order of the day on one end
outwardly
but inwardly, *what if's, maybe's, shoulda's, woulda's, coulda's*
Time...time...heals all
laughable that is
in this case, it simply is erroneous
simply untrue...inconceivable.
